    Question LED Holiday lights question

OK. I have a few sets of these LED lights from last year. I just took them off the roof to put on a BIG tree. While removing one of the sets I broke a bulb and the set will not light past that point. Any ideas of a "FIX" for this ???

I could be mistaken but can't you buy replacement bulbs for them? If not, why not just cut that section of broken bulb out and splice it back together?

I'd check the manufacture's web page for replacement lamps.

Otherwise you could try cutting off the socket & putting the leads together with a marette. I don't know what (if any) side effects that might have so as always, use my advise at your own risk

    Cheers!

Actually these cords are made to run all the bubs in series, these are led bulbs so dc current each bulb burns off some power thus no resistors probably, so 1 bulb possibly could make a difference, the others may generate more heat but the cord should stand up....
