    What I've been up to...

    Hey y'all..

I've been away for a while... and thought I'd show you what I've been up to and what's been keeping me busy this summer...

Having this much fun should be illegal! Wait, actually, at these speeds it is, which is why I take it to the track.

It's a small track, but it's great to learn how to really lean down the bike in tight curves. A true adrenaline rush to say the least!

I've been away from reefkeeping for a while, but I'm still playing with the idea of getting back into it some day soon. Maybe sooner than later, we shall see. In any case, I just wanted to check in with many of you who have been curious as to my where-abouts...

The last time I "experienced" a GSXR 750, I had passed his buddy on the way from 60-100 km. He looked over tilted his head and downshifted. I was about to downshift and chase, but, -- sigh -- not a chance. He was waiting at the next corner some 2 miles off. He continued to wait for his buddy as I pulled away.

During the warm months, I could see the bike being way more fun. But, does it humidify the heck out of your house in the winter, I think not. ;-)

Thanks for the kind words guys...

    Liv,
Yup, love the gixxer.. but on long rides it can be tiring. I'm thinking my next one might be a harley or a home built custom... we'll see...

    pwall,
    indeed, it's a blast!

    cres,
the cold months, i can park it in front of my 42" LCD and play motoGP... and not even have to worry about humidity, or gas fumes!

    seahunter,
thanks dude... good to hear from u too.

I've heard the GSXR 1000 with highway pegs/shifter can be quite comfortable, but, I haven't tried it.

I wouldn't get a harley.. too loud, expensive... blah. its a taste thing... I just hate them because of how loud they are.
i'd get a honda shadow.. can get parts for it everywhere.. quiet and inexpensive. I had a 1966 honda once, I could still get all the parts for it..lol

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.
