OFF TOPIC POLL: Heating your homes already ?

    Hi,
Just wanted to see who is already heating their homes.

I do not yet, and still have a few windows open from time to time.
current house temp .. with no aquariums or metal halides is ~21-23c depending on floors.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

Were in an old drafty farmhouse heated by oil, we don't turn on the furnace until the water pipes start getting sluggish.

With a 3 month old in the house I actually turned on the heater two week ago but it only came on a couple of time and briefly.

No it builds resistance. My oldest grew up in a nice warm house and now complains if anything is less then tropical. My youngest born to the cold drafty house will not complain about the cold even if there is an icicle hanging from his nose :b13:

I'm such a cheapskate, I go as long as I can without turning on the super inefficient oil furnace piece of junk. Once I know I need mitts to type with my computer then I start heating the place 95% of the time with a wood stove. The odd time during the winter nights the furnace will turn on when I'm not feeding the hungry fireplace.
