you have to resize them.. to be smaller..
if you got photoshop or other similar tools, lower the quality of the jpg.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

and of course MAKE SURE it is a jpeg file in the 1st place. If I am posting PICs I copy / past them to my desk top, crop them as / if needed and then resize with photo shop.

If you have XP, you can download their "image resizer" powertoy that allows you to rightclick an image and resize it easily.
    This powertool is available here:

when I open the internet I have a pop up add all the time. Besides paying for addprotection how can I get rid of existing cookies or whatever the hell there called.p.s how can I make my PC cook toast?

    Johnny,

For the stupid pop-up's 'n crap, download AD-AWARE

Install it, Update the program, and do a smart-scan. It will remove any spy-ware, adware that's been installed on your computer. I run it once a week.

To make your PC cook toast, jab a screwdriver into the power supply fan, remove the heatsink from the cpu, and throw your toast into the computer. Run the computer long enough and you'll have some nice toast.... dunno about the computer though....

Spy-bot is also a good adware removal tool, I use both. (Free too) One picks up ad-ware that the other doesn't....
XNView is also a good Free utility, for resizing and changing the file extension on any file. (good for DIY icons)
For the ads you'll need something a with a bit more punch like 'Ads-gone' it's not free but there's good free ad removal tools out there. I never get pop-ups and if I do I can drag them into the 'Ads-gone' window and they're gone.
As for cookies (those little tracking devises) it's best to set your comp to alert you every time a cookie is requesting to be installed, you'd be amazed at the cookies that want to get in that have nothing to do with what you're doing...and you can allow the necessary ones.
To remove cookies go to 'tools' then 'internet options' and under the 'general' tab, click the tab 'delete cookies'. You should also do this with temp files, as it'll also speed up your comp and save space too.
There's a utility that's free, it's called 'windows and Internet washer lite' and it'll do the cleaning you need too.
As for the toaster thing, if you remove the fan in the box you should get a nice light brown toast...
