    Dehumidifier Filters

Some may not know it but most if not all dehumidifiers have an air filter that sits in front of the coils and they should be checked more often then we think. My unit is only about 35 days old and I just checked that filter. It was PLUGGED solid. I did not think it would get that dirty that fast but it did. SOOO for those who are not happy with the performance of their units and don't know about the air filter ... or have not checked it in a while .. Check it because if it's dirty it will affect performance.

I was amazed ... it was plugged like a dryer filter after a load of blankets.
