Ever have one of those days?

So I'm sitting here in Tunney's pasture looking at the long picket lines that took 45 minutes to cross this morning (I'm not on strike) and it suddendly occurs to me...

Did I put the auto top off line back in the tank last night when I was done or is it pointing at my laptop?

I'm likely going to have to find out when I get home...

It's like the "did I unplug the iron" nagging voice.

    Ugh!

Not really, you don't get paid while you're on strike unless you march around the square with a sign & even then the local decides how much you'll get.

My wife is on strike & her local only pays after 3 days of picketing. On top of that, what they pay is less than half what she'd get by working.

And not everyone waiting in line is as understanding or patient as I am

    Cheers!

The strike will probly not last too long. Some groups have already agreed to a new agreement. At least it's not too cold to be picketing right?

That depends on your definiton of work. To me picketting is a pain in the arse & therefore work.

Programming on the other hand although some times difficult is fun & I frequently start at 8:30, blink & it's 7:30 & I haven't had lunch...

    Cheers!

I know the feeling. Last year I programmed my first game and I could work full days on it without leaving my desk.

Looks like I re-attached the auto-top off after all. Must stop tinkering with aquariums past bed-time lol

Heh, I was in a Home Depot once when I just KNEW I forgot to turn off the RO/DI water. If I had a dollar for every time I flooded my basement with RO/DI ... *groan*
