    Ordering Glass bits

I am about to place an order for new glass bits and will add one more size. I am thinking about one for closed loops that use 1 inch bulkhead fitting. I have a 7/8 inch fitting here but not a one inch. Anybody know what size hole is required for average one inch bulkheads? The 7/8 inch fitting would need 1.5 inch hole.

    Hi OSD,
A 1"int bulkhead requires a 1 3/4" hole thats what I used for my sump returns.

Good.. That's what I ordered. I was not sure if I would get a response in time and I really wanted to, and did, order tonight so they can ship them on Tuesday. I guessed that if it was a little too big it would still be OK.
    Thanks RobinL

OK I got "shipped out today" confirmation in the mail today. So unless customs mess's up I should have the bits before the meeting on Nov 27. Keep your fingers crossed boys and girls

No they only offer Global Priority Mail. If I am not mistaken it took about 10 days total last time. Being that these bits are controlled items they WILL stop at customs.

Yes they are diamond glass coring bits and they are controlled since 9/11. Don't ask me why but they are. there are many countries they can not ship them to.
