I went with the JVC 48" last year they were quite expensive but the price has come down on projection TV`s, very nice pic you have to get good monster cables though to get the best image. If I were to go out and buy another TV it would be a Sharp LCD the 45" model which will drop in price soon. I have a little 20" Sharp Aquos in our bedroom and it is just a fantastic clear picture,LCD`s takes very little power compared to other TV`s and is really slim and light can be wall mounted or left on ther stand.

Yes Future shop has last years model at a blowout sale that same unit last year was $2999.99.

The Sharp 45" which is new is $8999.99 but what ever you do dont get a Plazma my sister went and got one spent 10,000 on it and the LCD beats its rear end.

I checked Toshiba,Samsung,Sony,Hitachi at the time the JVC had the best picture and best options when set to default the guy hated me because I made them setup a DVD to each model and play a saltwater DVD with clownfish. LoL Its quite bulky though the new ones are slimmed down.

When i bought mine I could not see any substantial different when i was in the TV department. So I went to the front of the store and checked them out for there. At the distance the Sony (at the time) was the best picture of them all. I also got the optional screen cover that makes the picture look like a regular tubed TV.
