Yeah! Car show season is here.. :)

What an exciting time of year. Yes, I'm a huge Import/Sport Compact fan and participant. We have 2 cars.. here's one.

We almost have the H22 Accord all done and ready for shows this year. Here is the latest pic, just put the new JDM projector headlights in...

I am into cars but not really into import as i find 90% of the time they are all show and no go!! not at all saying that this is the case with your car though!!
I have a 70 Maverick with a 400 sbc mounted on a motor plate, msd 6al ignition, edlebrock airgap intake, holley 750 dp, 350 tubo hydromatic, 3500 stall 9ich converter, ford 9" with 370 richmond gears. car has a full cage and is last time i drove it to the dyno was rated at 425 hp, 458 ft-lb torque.
I picked up a detroit blower recently that produces 15 lbs of boost but i cant decided if i should pull the motor now and make the necessary mods as the motor is very fresh still or if i should have some fun for a bit first...

if you decide that you want to port those heads out let me know as this is what i did for 3 years before i came back to school.

Thats probably because the majority of them are slow car trying to look fast
Import car are not all about straight away power. Its a 50/50 thing, great handling and power.

For example i have this magazine that talks about the new Subaru STI vs A Mustang Cobra super charge.
We are now comparing an STI 50grand car vs a Cobra supercharge 80grand.
On a straight a way the subaru came really close to it, and on the track the cobra cant barely keep up.

Dont get me wrong, i love both import and domestic but i find them import are more reliable vs domestic.
