Pet Portrait ( Kiwi, Quaker parrot )

    Hey everyone!

This is my first attempt at doing a pet portrait.. My first subject is my own Quaker parrot.. VERY active.. and allways bouncing around very hard to photograph.. If anyone has some suggestions on how to get better shots please fill me in!

I shot her with the canon digital rebel with the Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6II APO Supermacro, at full 300mm 1/25, F/5.6, ISO800 ( Very low light and dam thing would not sit still )

    Thanks

    Michael.

they look pretty good to me! the only thing i might suggest is to try and get the focus on the eye. it'll give you a much more balanced portrait.
