A "pony" box is a smaller fuse box that this connected to your main fuse box. It is used to gain an extra circuit when your current fuse box is at its rated capacity. If I am not mistaken it works like this ....example ... take 3 lite use 15 amp circuits like bedrooms and move those fuses to a pony box. The pony box however is tied into the main box with a 30 amp fuse.... you just gained 1 circuit that can handle 15 amps.

    Cool

yep, thats it. what I'm doing though is we found 1 unused circuit that was used for some equipment the previous owner had. I'll add 3 breakers to this circuit for the tank. extra for the next halides.

For the sake of a few hundred in materials you could swap the whole panel out and gain more circuits and keep it all in one enclosure.

Say no to pony panels, say no to pony panels, keep the back board clean of multiple disconects hehe

I woulld update yours and OSDs for some frags you buy the material, heck may not even need to pull the meter hehe JK about pulling the meter, for frags I will find a way! LOL
