This week I saw the new Batman flick which I consider pretty good to say the least. Anyway, what really caught my attention was the movie preview of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with Johnny Depp playing the role of Willy Wonka. The storyline is about an obscure, reclusive owner who invites five children to see his amazing magical chocolate factory. What's is really spooky is the Johnny Depp character has a striking resemblance to Michael Jackson. The parallel to Willy Wonka's world to Jackson's Neverland is also kinda spooky. Finally the storyline of Willy Wonka inviting children to the factory...

I saw the original movie with Gene Wilder about 30 years ago and I remember liking it a lot although I don't remember the exact storyline. I'm curious though to find out if the producers planned the similitude to MJ's life in this version.
