Just had to share this one...

One of the wifes co-worker found a baby at the foot of a tree and decided to try and nurse it... well it ends up her dog just had puppies and does not mind the new addition. She actually went and grabbed it from her cage and brought it back to where her puppies were.

Why is it called "cargo" when it goes by ship, and "shipment" when it goes by car?

Squirrels are cute little critters, don't think they would taste very good though. We had one peeking in the windowsill this fall, not a common occurence here because of a lack of decidious trees; of course my children were pretty amazed by this peeping tom.

    That is really sweet!!

I have myself rescued baby squirrels in the past. The mother was run over right in front of my house. I bottle fed them till they were ready to leave the cage and go forth in the "wild" The day after the release, one was on the porch and I bent down to talk to him and pet him and he tried to bite me!!!! They go wild very quickly once they are back outside....

Talk about bitting the hand that feeds you! lol

I have a 40 foot tall massive oak tree in my front yard. It was a good acorn year this year and black and grey squirrels were around our house from fist light until dark. I agree with Carolpol's experience though. I find them fun to watch but they are not the gentle petting type of creature!
