    getting zoas to gro togeather intermingeled

    hey i say a picture of a colony of zoas that were three different colour forms (blue, yelow, and red)all intermingled to geather how do i acomplish this because mine are all on a mat base thingy and each colony is on its one rock do i just frag 1 polyp of each colour and let them grow? also the zoas were a size of a quarter ?? maby something different that look like a zoa

    I would say they were fragged one by one and glued in place.
    You got a pic of them ?

    found it didnt realize the blue was the base but if you look closly it looks like each polyp is on its own do any zoa do this? or are the just cut and glued indvidually?

    sow how do i replicate that is there a certain type of zoa i need? where do i find zoas that big ne ways mine are all small

    this looks like a close up shot.
    zoos will expand in time.
    you can either let them mix together.. or you can help it by fraging and gluing them in a pattern that you like.

    be careful with zoos, they have a very potent poison. Its good practice to always use gloves when handling any types of corals.

    lol yep i kno when i frag ne thing i where a hasmat suit lol (long sleaves , safty glasses, full face sheild, yello rubber gloves) im alirgic too bees and ive already had a few reactions to some of the corals in my tank. so will my zoas eventualy be the size of a quarter?

    Nope. Zoas at least any I am aware of don't get anywhere near that big/polyp. There are sand polyps that get bigger but they grow at pest like speed and aren't nearly as colorful.
