    NEED HELP:Red Sea Prizm

    Ok first dont laugh.

I got this protein skimmer yesterday on E-bay...cheap.
I''m all award for the reputation of the product.
    :hammerhea

There was no instruction in the box, so is there ANYWONE who''s using or used that protein skimmer.

How do you adjust that Bloody thing?
And do you had a good experience?

    You dont adjust it ...

we had one and tossed it 3 days later.. run it full Flow and it over fills... Run it at the lowest setting you get some skimate but then it hardy cleans any water!

You are not alone with the priszm....many have tried adn many have failed....at least you made it a day. Most give up after an hour or so. Re-sell it on EBAY...

It's a shame that people still get sucked in by products such as this ... stay away from the Sea-Clone as well.

If every hobbyist was to empty his "junk" closet, we'd have a mountain of inferior products. It's just a shame that some folks still get taken in ...

Many large retail establishments still carry these products and consumers starting out believe they're getting a deal ...
