    RO Units

I'm going to be purchasing a new RO unit and was curious what systems everyone uses and what ones get the best results. Currently i was looking at.

    Kent Marine HI-S
    Aquasafe Reef RO Unit

    Anyothers? What do you prefer?
    Thanks

Talk to Johnny Rock here. There is one he got and TangMan also bought that is a VERY good price and you get ALL the bells and whistles!! I think maybe it's Ijo that got them for these guys.
By the way, what were you doing exactly when you worked for the Bermuda aquarium and zoo?

cool. i use a captive purity 4-stage RO/DI - personally, i think they are all pretty much the same. its just a plastic that you put the cartridges in. but see what they have to say, perhaps some will do a better job than others.

ya was looking at those. 150 isn't a bad price at all. So they are generally comparable to the Kent units?

Just got off the phone with Aqua Safe... it looks like they stoped the 100 GPD units and are back at the 75 GPD.

    The Aquasafe units are great!
Mine's been running now for almost 3 months, and I'm still getting 0 TDS water out of it. And I make a lot of water from it! (Figure 1 gallon/day evaporation, plus 5-10 gallons/week in water changes)
It comes with a flush valve, and John Guest fittings throughout. It also comes with all plumbing attachments necessary to install it beneath your sink.

I honestly couldn't be happier with it.
I am Homer of BORG... Prepare to be..OOOO!! DONUT!!!!!!
