    PVC cement...

    Is any ok? Before I start modifiying my plumbing...

    As long as it says PVC Cement on the bottle you're good to go.

    I use "One Step D1 PVC Solvent Cement" It's dark grey in color.

    safe for what?? its fine to use with ABS and safe for a reeftank plumbing once cured

    Thanks JR, "Reef Safe" is what I meant. I want to plumb my intake for a closed loop with 1.5" ABS. Sorry if I hijaked your thread RaceFaceR1.
