    Montreal Reef stores

If you were travelling to Montreal and wanted to stop by the best marine store specifically to look over their sps stock which one would you visit.

Do they have a great selection?
    Anything special?

Just one though, if you only had time to go to one store, then which one would you visit?

depends on what you are looking for...
General stuff (more petstore'ish but still with a decent selection) - Aquatropical (cheapest stuff but nothing crazy or rare)

Good selection of corals and fish - Octopus (but the stuff is expensive)

Corals - La Corail (I've visited the place once only and have not bought anything yet so your experience may vary) but they have some damn nice corals though.

I don't really know any other reef stores in MTL.

    Good Luck

    montreal LFS

does world fish have a website?

Le Corail's review says they are good on shipment days, anyone know what day of the week that is?

Which do you think has a larger SPS supply?

I would tell you that if your looking to buy SPS go to Aquareef(le corail).
I was there thursday and there isnt much free space in their tanks, lots of stuff. Large, medium sized colonies and ALOT of frags for cheap guys like me The nicest SPS store in the area.
Practicaly no fish though, just a few. Steve is a great guy and his store is THE place if your an SPS fanatic, cause he is too

Now if your looking for fish go to worldfish, they have a great selection. They used to have a location in brossard(now closed) but now in St leonard area(Mtl). They also have a variety of different corals, you have to be there when the shipment comes in to get the realy nice corals. The corals and fish Ive baught from there are doing great. They have more of a variety than anybody else around at this present moment. And their service is hard to beat.

Octopus is not more expensive than these 2 other places IME and they also have a decent selection of everything.

Hope Im making your choce a bit eazier.
PLEASE SEND ALL ACROPORA FRAGS TO THE REEFSURFER
