    anyone know anything about Trapezia Lutea Crabs?

    i think i got 2 of these as a hitchhiker from a SPS i bought today...

    on that site it says its safe, but do any of you guys know what they eat?
    looks like one of them is prego, i see a lot of eggs under him...

    They are harmless to the coral and will actually protect it from the Crown of Thorn starfish (I believe this is the one) but attacking the stars underside as it moves overthem. As for what they eat I have read everything from being herbivours to eating mucus of the coral or just the bits of food that fall on the coral.

    I personally would leave them with the coral as they are a neat addition, and a good score.
