    For anyone going to MACNA XX Atlanta

    Here is a link to the Peachtree Hotel.

    It's the tallest hotel in the Western Hemisphere at 73 stories.

    It's also supposed to be walking distance from the Georgia Aquarium and the conference center in which MACNA is held.

    nice, cool looking hotel. it says they are already sold out for that weekend though :b1: but looking to increase their room block.

    i can already see a bunch of drunk reefers trying to convert the 11th floor pool to a reef tank.

    Were does it say they are booked up?I just looked again.

    I reserved a room yesterday and they e-mailed me the conformation.

    at the bottom of that link it says

    "* Please note - September 4th room resevervations are currently sold out, we are in negotiations to increase our room block."

    i assumed, they meant sold out from the 4th through the convention ( MACNA is the 5th - 7th ), but we all know what happens when we assume.

    I got in just under the wire.Or I missed it and it came up with $119 a night anyway.
