    Green motile squares

I have an invasion of greenish motile squares, still unclear if they are an algae or if they eat algae... But they are muliplying like crazy!

Anyone got an idea of what they could be?

    possibly ......

funny, i was trying to figure out if that was a spelling mistake ( motile ) and mobile would make sense. then i looked up motile and it said "exhibiting or capable of movement" so i guess they both make sense :b15:

    Green motile squares - picture

Hey here is a fuzzy picture, sorry took it at night, should have tried this week end day time.

You see about a dozen of them on the top, the orange at the bottom is the sofa on the other side. I have not cleaned my glass in a week because It would disrupt probably 100 of those squares by now hehehehe

    Anyone has an idea?

I think they're relatively harmless but ugly. Easy to kill but when you do you're going to get a big dump of pollution into your tank.

There are probably folks who know a lot more about them than me.
