    Blue Tang Tail

Hi, haven't been the blog for so long, too busy, question for me for today,

My Blue Regal Tang's Tail look so wired (It happend almost from the very beginning). I bought it 4 months ago and it is about 1 inch size, and I didn't pay attention about it tail but after the quarantine I put it into the display tank, I start to realize that it tail is not Straight, the shape like a "W"... do you think it is because it fight? however, I "think" it will grow back again but it almost 4 months, it kind of not getting wrost but not better, what should I do? or just let it be?

    Thanks for the answer.

It is possible that it is a birth defect and it may always be that way. If it is staying the same and not getting worse, and he can swim okay and is eating then I wouldn't worry too much about it. If the tail is getting smaller or eaten away more then I would be worried.

Is there possibly any other fish that could be bullying him in the tank?

Thanks for the reply, the funny thing is I totally forget when I got it, how's the tail look like, I can't see other fish bullying him, even they do, they bully his body, not the tail.

I can't see it getting worst but really thanks for helping.

I'm with Rob, if he's eating and looks happy, nothing to worry about. it will either heal in time. or possibly just a birth mark/defect.. so you got a very unique blue tang!! congrats

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.
