    canopy

and a inside shot, any suggestions on how to install the 250 MH in this canopy. I also want to run two vho 36" lamps which will fit I use to run 6 in the middle. I was thinking on one frount and back and maybe cutting out the top for the MH and running two fans either side blowing in ?

    Sugestions please?

Actually it dosen't open , I didn't factor that part in when I made it. The stand is from Aqua Creations the canopy is mine.
I have to lift it up to feed etc.... that's a change I will make before setting it up

I think you'll have to raise it up to run all those lights. I doesn't look like there will be enough clearance between vho's and Mh and then lights to water.

Yup, definately will need to make a taller canopy... Take this as an opportunity to put doors on the front.

Nice setup. I like the material you chose for the front, goes really well with the dark wood.

I have my MH lights 12" off the water. That's measured from the bottom of the bulb (closest to the water) to the actual surface of the water.

I know some people have theirs lower than that but I haven't refreted it. When I work in the tank I certainly wouldn't want them any lower.
