    brittle starfish question..

i bought a brittle starfish and was told it wouldnt hurt my fish or invertebrates.

not even 24 hours later one of my camel shrimps seems to be eaten out leaving just his shell.
i looked throughout the whole tank not finding him.
    could this be the starfish?

It's quite possible he molted & is just hiding while his new shell hardens. If the shell looks close to perfect, this is most likely. If there's chunky bits left inside the shell - then something got him.

    Cheers!
There is nothing so permanent as a temporary measure.

planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.
