    Finding Nemo

For all who are interested, there is a story in the Citizen this morning:

    http://www.canada.com/search/story.aspx?id=15fbf627-2865-4796-a604-0b0cccc24316

Any "members" of our flegling MASO club think we should maybe compose a letter to the editor?

All I hope is that people who go buy a real live Nemo (Clown fish) are responsible enough to provide it a proper home. And that the pet stores are reponsible enough not to sell someone the salt, fish and a bowl at once.

I'm confident that the guys at Marinescape meet that level responsibility.   I'm not as sure about Aquarium Services.

He he, maybe we should point the Citizen to Richard. *They could do a story about "Making Nemo".

Looks like the article did a fair job of warning people about the difficulty of keeping these fish... Still, it will be up to the lfs to make sure that the fish have a decent chance  :

At least the warning and consequences about the Dalmations was mentioned...

Yeah, I read the article this morning... I'm gonna be rich!  8)

Seriously, I think once the parents find out the cost of the rest of the system, they'll bail out and get the kid a plush Nemo toy (I want one too...)

Then again, I was in Arizona last week and saw these neat plastic-encased tarantulas. Hmmm, maybe encasing clownfish might be a good side business... ;D
