Magnificent Foxface - My Latest Addition !

Here is the pic of my magnificent foxface that I got from IJO on thursday... Awesome fish and he was eating within less than 24 hours. He is still very shy and is usually blotchy and hiding behind rocks but once in a while we do catch him in his natural color swimming around.

Yeah, he looks awesome in the tank although he is still hiding most of the time. He also has what kinda looks like a big lump at the end of his nose but I think it may just suppose to be like that...

A nice fish that is not often seen. He should do well as long as he eats his veggies. Don't add any more fish from the rabbit-fishes family or he will become aggressive toward them.

How can you tell if he's eating enough ? I see him picking at the rock all the time (but he hides once he seems me near the tank) What are the signs of a malnurited fish ?

Like most fish If he dose not get the right diet his colors will not be as bright as they could be and he will be more apt to catch diseases. If his total food consumption is insufficient he will become skinny. I was not suggesting that there would be a problem with this fellow because he also loves animal foods. He is described as easy to keep but dose need a mix of both food types. You know he can grow to up to 10 inches long EH :-)
