    True PC actinics

Do any of you know where I can get true 03 PC actinics, not those false blue PC actinics being sold everywhere?

    Hi Beluga,

Have just bought this past weekend two NO Philips 30 watts Actinics……...great coloring. My SPS have really colored up under those bulbs.

But now, I am trying to find true actinics for my Power compact ballast ( 55 watts per bulb ), as I have a mixture of NO tubes and PC for actinics. My Coralife actinics are blue like a Marine Glo bulb.

Philips do power compact true actinics?

Hamilton technologies make them, but I cannot order only one bulb from the US.

One worthy observation from my tank, all my corals have better coloring with the true actinics from Philips. All except my orange digitata. The color orange comes out much better under the blue PC that reminds me of a Marine Glo by Hagen.

I may keep both types of actinics and have the best of both worlds.
