    any idea??

it been only a year that i started a saltwater tank

But i still don't know much about it

I have a 40 gallon tank with only 1 pygmy angel and 2 perculas
I don't know if i still have room to put more fish in there.

There is as well 2 cleaner shrimps , 2 brains, some mushroom, and a candy cane

I would like to have a blue fish, like a blue tang

any idea what i can get

I wouldn't add a blue tang only as it's will out grow the tank in short time. Same with a hippo tang (also blue). Why not try a school of four or five blue chromis. They are cheap and give a nice flash of blue to any tank. They are always moving and usually will school if added in groups. Maybe add three and then two more a little later as to not shock your bio load.

    Just a thought...
The only thing two reef keepers will agree on, is what the third reef keeper is doing wrong!

    No that's not true.
Hippo tangs get large, and territorial. It will eventually succumb of stress in a 40 gallon tank.
