    shedding foxface ?

A few times this week I noticed what looked like a white mucus (breaks apart when becomes in contact with something) floating in my tank... At first I though it may have been my toadstoll shedding a layer of skin, however I see it almost on a daily basis (disapears after a few minutes)

All I have in my tank aside from the toadstool are 2 clowns and a foxface. Could the foxface be shedding or somehow maybe releasing this white substance into the tank ? I really dont know what else it could be...

    thanks,
    Nick

Could it be salt creep flakes falling into the tank from somewhere. They look what you describing and DON"T last long.
