    Question Flatworm + rock question

I only need a few small pieces of rock and one of the LFS has flatworms the other I don't like the rock.

My question is if I purchased some l.r. from the store with flatworms BUT dried and cooked it would it be ok to use?

if you're gonna cook it, why not just buy cheapo base rock?

you could always dip it in some Flatworm Exit.
    thanks.

    Debbie,
If you dried and cooked your l.r., it wouldn't be live anymore, as stated above...

You could always try flatworm exit, or go to another LFS... If Decarie isn't too far for you, there an LFS there that has some nice rock...

Well Nature's base rock is what I was planning on getting (as far as I know they don't keep any out of the water=no dead) and as for getting to Decarie, it's a bit out of the way.

Nature or Big Al's is right around the corner. Nature's base l.r. is $5.99/lbs if it hasn't changed and since I only need a few small chunks it wouldn't be that expensive.

It wouldn't be worth the time or gas to go to Decarie to save a dollar or two on rocks IMO and that's why I was considering just buying it at Nature. Big Al's is not IMO proper for fragging, way to pourous and hard to find a small piece let alone a small piece without a ton of big holes, Nature has a nicer variety of small less pourous rock.
