    BTA question

I added a BTA from the LFS here on Friday. All was well until today when it started to deflate. The water parameters are all in check and its not torn or anytthing like that. Its not turning inside out to see the curly insides or anything like that. It justIts just staying deflated. It will eat brine shrimp but just won't go back to its normal fullness. Its boot is staying firmly stuck to the piece of liferock that its palced on and its about midway up in the tank. Thanks in advance for any info you can offer. All other inverts in the tank are thriving, so I'm really stumped.

I'm no expert on this but, from what I've read, BTA's go through periods of deflation which are normal. 'Watchful waiting' may be the best approach.

thats true when i had my BTA it deflaited on me then about 3 hours later my Clark's clownfish found it and it reinflated when the fish started to swim through it it was the oddest thing i have seen. But beware those BTA's if they clone they are like Green Star Polyps they are hard to get rid of and they are stuck in place.
