RO/DI

Hi Ivan and reefers. I'm looking for the best RO unit at 100gpd. So far the unit from SALTWATERCONNECTION.COM
at $279 seems the best. I need a good system for around $300. Let me know what you guys use. Thanks 8)

whoohoo biting the bullet are ya johnny? You won't regret it.

A 60gal would be dandy ( I survive with a 25gpd ) but the 100gal will be nice when you want to setup your 500gal system.

Don't forget you will never get that rating unless your pressure is high and the water's not too cold. In the winter I add a pinch of hot water to raise the temp so that it's decently efficient.

Aquasafe 75 GPD REEF REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER FILTER $150-$180 (depends on how many we purchase at a time)

Re: RO/DI

I didn;t talk to STEPHANE but I have a feeling it is the same units. I also just found out those AS ro/di units use non standard filter sizes. 11" instead of "10.
what would happen if that said company went under!
You might not find filters. Maybe thats why there so much cheaper? I don't know, probaly stick with a good name brand like KENT & SPECTRAPURE.
HD and RONA do not have the DI part of an RO system and the were asking like$300 when I phoned~
