    Feeding Feather Duster Worms

    Hi
I was planning on putting some Feather Dusters in my tank. I was wondering what to feed them. I have heard that Kent MArine has some per made stuff that comes in bottles buti am not sure what one to buy. it also has to be able to feed Ricordea and assorted mushrooms because they will be in the tank also.

FeatherDusters eat phytoplankton. Your other corals are carnivorous. Not the same food unfortunately. What you can try is foods such as Golden Pearls or CyclopEeze. I know most things respond well to these.

As Toutouche said, you need phyto for the feather dusters. I've used DT's, but have very recently started testing the phyto from Liquid Life.

For the others, I use the Cyclop Eeze. Awsome stuff. However, mushrooms et all really don't need supplemental feeding, because they are photosynthetic.

Another thing that I found out when researching feather dusters is that the current should flow from below the crown up to the crown not down into the crown. This is because of the way the crown catches the food.
