    New 300g arrived today.

Well it's here! This is pretty much where it will remain only a bit more to the left when I get that doorway filled in. The plan is to build a wall in front of it and have cupboard doors along the bottom, two big horizontal doors across the top and a tall door on the right end for the 6' skimmer. I'm going to fill in the doorway and put in a round brass porthole window frame so that I can see the fish from the kitchen.
All of a sudden my reef looks very small.

Ventilation? Hadn't even considered ventilation. I don't think heat will be a problem and I'm thinking the 6' skimmer will add plenty oxygen. You really think I need to vent it? Evap has to be kept to an absolute minimum.

This isn't going to be a reef. Well, not a real reef. I'm thinking 300lbs of live rock and four 4' tubes of VHO. Two on the left and two on the right. I'll probably add some mushrooms, zoos and polyps for colour. Mostly this tank is for large fish.

This is my ever-changing fish list as of today:

    2 Golden Butterflyfish (Chaetodon semilarvatus)
Moorish Idol (Zanclus cornutus) - big maybe
    Marine Betta (Calloplesiops altivelis)
    Regal Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus)
    Achilles Tang (Acanthurus achilles)
    Imperator Angel (Pomacanthus imperator)
Squarespot Anthias (Pseudanthias pleurotaenia) - from the current reef
