    3/4" baby blue tangs

    has any one seen them?

    If your referring to hippo tangs I have in the past been able to find them at about the size of a loony. They can be difficult to get started on the food but grow fast and get real used to people at the glass of the tank and tend to be a lot less shy.

    No I don't have pics but I can tell you that they tend to be available in the fall and are rare because most retailer will not take the small fish. Come this fall ask Ivan to order one for you and have it be a standing order until they appear.

    That's likely because Ottawa stores used to and likely still get THE LEFT OVERS from Toronto and Montreal. I know that any time I am in Toronto and check out the retail outfits their stock is more diverse and healthy. I have only seem them twice here in Ottawa and both times it was late fall.

    They had some at our local LFS a month ago. They were calling them "thumbnail Dorry's". Pretty darned cute.
