    New system by Korallin

I was doing some reading on a new system called "Zeovit" by Korallin and look at the tank pics I found. Amongst all the other corals, I am particularly drooling over that long slender Pink Birdsnest!!!

Those setups sure are nice. I love the colours on the sps. I need to get myself a nice birdsnest. They are a beautiful coral.

    Andy,
Yes they are. I already have one thatis a nice coloring, but the one in those pictures are the "poster coral" for a birdsnest to say the least!!!! The only one I have ever seen that resembled this one is the pic on the cover of Anthony Calfo's book of coral propagation.
Have you ever heard of this new product? It's funny that it's not mentioned on Korallin's site, yet if you do a search, you can find a bunch of sites/pages on it.

That birds nest is awesome, it must be in a lower flow area- very cool! I'm not convinced that this stuff makes the corals look any better than any other system. Amazing polyp extention, though.

    Hi Toutouche,
I heard about that product about 2 years ago. It is a sort of mix of principles between ferric oxide (Phosban and others) and a «sugar» coating of the pellets (or alcohol alike product ) that enhances the bacteria activity.

This is no miracle and a german friend (real German in Germany!) told me to put a hold on that as this is a 50/50 hit and miss thing. One of his friend had success for a certain time, but he himself had to take the stuff out as its tank became a mess (and he is no amateur!).

    Ciao
