    New Coral For Me

Picked up this red open brain a few days ago....I've placed it roughly 6 inches below the surface under the halides and it seems to be loving it. I'm wondering if it would appreciate being spot fed...anyone have any opinion or experience feeding brains? Any noticable benefits?

Usually doesn't like or need alot of light. You can spot feed it mysis once in a while, or DT's to the tank.
    It's beautiful!

I agree with Lynn, these guys are not typically light hungry. I would move it down first, and go from there. Certainly if you have powerful MHs.

I use to feed my open green brian bits of shrimp, when its sweeper tentacles came out at night.

If it's tentacles come out, you can feed it bits of shrimp or something, however, it does not need to be fed at all. And it doesn't need, but will tolerate high light intensity, but I'd start it off lower and move it over a few weeks.
    It's a very nice brain!!
