    rare fish ?

    Just wondering is anyone knows how commong the following fish is... I'm looking for either a mail or femails which look remarkably different.

    Genicanthus melanospilos

    (prison angel and swallowtail angel)

    The local BigAl's had one here 2 months ago...
    Beautiful reef-safe angels!

    You may want to look into the genicanthus bellus or the genicanthus watanabei too.

    Yes, I'd be happy with almost any genicanthus as long as it isn't too expensive of a fish...

    I've got a Lamarck in my tank. Some people find it to be not exactly spectacular, but I find it nice being that it's a blusih silver with many black markings and spots. It has great personality too. It is often, albeit not always available around here.

    I tried to take a few pics but this guy just won't sit still!!! here's 2 of the best I could get. It's hard to see all the markings on his head area though, but they're there.

    He's a beauty! I see what you mean, the colours aren't the brightest but the shimmery silver blue with the dark stripes is quite nice. I really like his shape too. How aggressive is he Toutouche? I see you have him in with a copperband - any trouble there?

    The pictures don't do his Lamark justice. It is a beauty in person. Very docile fish too.
