    Xenia not doing too good

I recently purchased an Xenia frag who is not adjusting well to his new home. Instead of pulsing, the tips are closing up into a ball and the stalks are shriveling up. The only noticeable diiference between his old home and his new home is salinity. He came from 1.022 and went into 1.025. I tried to acclimate him over an extended period of time, but it didn't seem to help. What can I do? Should I pull him out and set up new water for him in a temporary location?

Xenia will do this from either stress or its splitting... one thing they do not like is being out of water for any amount of time... I've lost some in a matter of 30 seconds after being out of water.

I would just leave it there and wait. I have found it does not take long for xenia to go downhill(1 or 2 days). My guess is it'll be fine. HTH
