    Massive Power Outage

All of us Montrealers are hoping that our Ottawa and Ontario friends make it ok through this power outage.

If anyone has any news, please let us all know through this thread.

I hope no one suffers any damage or losses to this outage.

    My fingers are crossed.

Any news as to when it'll be back up in Ontario ? And anybody got any conspiracy theories ? Seems odd to me that such a huge areas would be dependant on a single system... and that it would go out exactly when traffic is at it's worst... and they can't seem to pinpoint the problem... and....

They say anywhere from a few hours to a few days to get the grid up to full power.

Power was back on my apartment at 2:30am last night. Fortunately my livestock appears to be OK and moving about normally.

My UPS backup battery system lasted 3.5 hours for the MaxiJet 600 (7.5 W) powerhead.

    Expecting rolling black outs today.

I hope some of those who don't have power can check here.

I'm sure many of us are willing to lend out a helping hand.

Please let me know if there's anything I can do.

In kitchener it was out for 13 hours. What a battle. All my corals lived. They look retracted a bit but they'll bounce back in a couple days. The only loss was a flame angle but he was on his way to the gates from old age as it was. Other than that all is good. Now to find a generator....
