    PH Meter

    Hi Everyone,

My Pinpoint PH meter is reading 8.29 8.30 - 8.29 - 8.28 changes every say 3 seconds but no more than .01 at a time. Is this normal or is this calibration indications.

    Thank You
    Terry

Sounds more or less normal, when is the last time you calibrated it?

Mine displays a study reading. When on the move the reading will bounce up or down one digit only. How old is the battery and as asked by Vince when was it last calibrated?

probe is about 6 months old calibration was last done about 3 months ago and the battery died about 2 weeks ago and replaced it. It Only bounces .01+- never more.

I think 0.01 swing is quiet normal. Pin Point Meters made a few years ago can bounce as much as 0.03. Nothing to worry, recalibrate the probe since it has been 3 months since the last recalibration.
