How long is frozen food good for

I have some stuff that's probably close to 2 years old, and some stuff that has bad freezer burn. Just wondering if it is garbage.

I wouldn't use freezer burned food. How long it lasts depends on how well it's wrapped. I've found double freezer bags will let you keep food a lot longer than if you just freeze it in the packaging it comes in.

For food to keep it's nutritional value, you want to use it within 6 months when in the freezer. My GF is a nutritionist so we are pretty good about that in our home . This goes for frozen fish food as well.

Vac packed is best if you can do that. Otherwise like Flame says ... Bag it in good quality freezer bags.
