    That is very cool. It explains why corraline algea always seems, to me, to grow on plastic and powerheads first in a tank- I think it likes the static electricity.

    Very good news,I hope the future results are promising.
    I think everyone should read this,because our reefs are really in danger of perishing.The life we have in our tanks are very important as we see this everyday when we admire our Reefs.

    Reefmutt - I've noticed the same thing with coralline. Someday, when this is refined, we may be using devices in our tanks that emit a low voltage to enhance coral growth. Who knows, someday hobbyists may even be replenishing natural reefs from our tanks.
