    Bubble counter water?

    What do I fill it with? RO, Distilled? and how much do I put in their?

    I fill mine about 3/4 way with RO but I really don't think it matters.

    I've read that an inert oil should be used to avoid evaporation........

    The instructions on my Milwaukee counter state water. 3/4 full.

    Mine has stayed full for a month now with no evap with RO water

    Same for me. Its so easy to refill the Milwakee, I dont worry about evaporation.

    I believe part of the reasoning was to slow down the bubbles... ... as well as to eliminate the re-filling...

    There is an oil that is sold for this purpose, but most places don't even carry it. Abahn had found it awhile ago somewhere online. Most people, myself included, just use water. Yes, it'll evaporate over time but this is over moths, so 2 or 3 times a year of taking 2 minutes to fill it up is not that bad.
