    Six-Line Wrasse

I have a Leopard wrasse in my 90 that I've had for 2 years, can I add a six-line wrasse without a battle? I know nothing is hard and fast in the Marine world just lookin' for opinions.

The sixline can be aggressive. However seeing how you're adding it after the current wrasse, it may be ok.

You'll probably be o.k. since the leopard is already established. Sixlines are usually mean to new comers, but there is a chance he'll turn around one day and chase the leopard. If they are well fed it probably won't be a problem.

I tried it the other way around - sixline first then the leopard. It wasn't pretty. The sixline was always an easy going fun loving fish. All of a sudden he was a killer. I couldn't believe it. Could be different with the leopard in first, you'd have a better chance if the sixline is young too.

Thanks everyone for your input, I think I will wait, unless as Flame suggests I can find a real young six-line. The Leopard is one of the first additions the other being a clown I added when the tank first started as they were cast offs from someone tearing down a tank. I don't want to lose my Leopard as he is big and beautiful, and my wifes' favorite fish....

Leopards are easily intimidated and sixlines are mighty hard to catch if you need to.
