    Rock Clouds

When blowing my live rocks (with a turkey baster, or powerhead) this cloud of white "stuff" comes out of it. What exactly is this? and is it better to blow it out every now and then? or better to leave it in the rock and out of the water?

I'm no expert on Live Rock, but I think the cause of the clouds (probably Live Rock dust) is not having the proper calcium content in the water. 400 mg/L is what you should maintain. If the Live Rock doesn't get enough calcium, it will eventually begin to crumble and fall apart. These clouds are probably rock dust.
