    How bad are dead spots in a tank ?

    How bad is it to have spots in the tank behind LR that has no water movement at all, i'm assuming pretty bad ?
    50 Gal SPS/LPS Mixed Reef
    25 Gal Fuge
    Neptune Aquacontroller
    Pro Cal Calcium Reactor
    Acrylic City Kalk Reactor
    Euroreef CS6-3 Skimmer
    2x175W MH 1x250W MH 2x65W Actinics

    It is not the best situation because stuff will settle in these dead spots and rot. The wrong types of diatoms and algae can also find a foothold in these areas.
