    RODI what is this???

    What is this Part on the unit i picked up from Ivan.. and what is the correct Position for it??

    its a valve. when in that position, it will be ON (flowing) when you turn it to a 90 degree angle, it will be OFF (stop the flow)

    i get flow in both Positions.. Just in this posistion i get less flow.

    that is strange then. i've never seen that before, but it clearly says FLOW and points in that direction. i cant imagine what else it could be.

    Yea mine arived in the other posistion as well, lol, From waht i understand its a Membrain Flush valve.. but what i want to konw is what is the correct normal operating posistion

    This is the value used to control flushing of the RO filter I have one just like it on my unit. When in the 'flow' position, water to routed from the RO filter directly to the drain line in order to flush the unit. When it is 'closed', it provides back pressure so that the RO filter output goes to the next stage but waste water will continue flowing out the drain line. You want it in the 'no flow' position in order to generate RO/DI water.

    BTW Tooloud, I hope you got the instructions I e-mailed to you.

    oh, ok then. i have a flush valve too.
    in the position that makes a strong flow out of the drain tube, that is to flush the membrane.
    the regular position should have slight flow out of the drain and out of the clean water.
    its basically a bypass on the pressure that pushes the water through the membrane.
