I'm thinking about putting one in. Just not sure if the vho and pc combo will do it justice! Anyone have any thoughts on this or what?

Very easy piece of coral to keep. Tolerant of less light and flow compared to most SPS. Grows fast. I would love to have one again if I could find one.

The Montipora Caps will do fine under VHO's or PC's. However, you'll have to remember that they also like very intense lighting. Under less strong light, they will grow slower and not have as nice coloring. The red one will tend to stay a rusty brown color. Other than that, decent flow tends to keep them cleaner too because as they produce the cups and bowls, sediment can accumulate in there. It won't kill them, but the covered areas will die off and stay white. If your current isn't strong, you'll just have to keep an eye on them and blow it off regularly. They are also one of those corals that slime a lot when handled or broken, which is no biggie but thought I'd still mention it so that you know to expect it.
