OMG - you guys are the best - check out what they did for me

As many people know, I had a disaster in my new 300g tank just last weekend when a cucumber died on a tunze stream pump and killed all the fish in my newly stocked tank. It was devastating but I've been picking up the pieces and have started restocking. It's tough because I had some really hard-to-find and expensive fish in there and I'd really like to try and replace all of them if possible.

I went out to supper tonight with Gail and Barry and Aven where I was presented with a beautiful homemade card with some really kind words, both of encouragement and sympathy. There was a list of a dozen names (first names only here to, uh, protect the innocent):

    Gail
    Norris
    Lorne
    Jon
    Andrew
    One Salty Dog
    Aven and Barry
    Steve
    Paul
    Brandon
    Stephen
    Derrik

These people all got together and went in to buy me a new baby emperor angel!!!!!! There is a really, really nice one at Aqua Creations, our local fish store. I've been oogling it but it's marked "on hold". I didn't think I'd ever find a replacement for my lost little Angus but tomorrow morning I get to go down and bring him home. Are these great people or what?!!!

Thank you so much you guys, this is about the nicest thing anyone has done for me. Friendships with other reefers has got to be one of the best parts about this hobby. I'm all choked up here

Oh you guys do rock! Congrats Susan on your new fish! Make sure to post a pic when you can!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
WOO HOO - What a Ride!

That's really cool, I'm glad you'll be getting another emperor angel.
